The gestus depicted by the videoinstallation (blowing fan at gazing eyes) produces intendedly the blink of the spectator regarded as physiological resistance to the attention economy.[/typography]

STATEMENT
The artistic practice behind the artwork looks for the discovery of motifs to test new discursive and technological possibilities, opened by strategies of appropriation.
The purpose of the artefacts I work on is to use the exhibition field as way to examine presence beyond the screens; as a platform to trigger dialogic queries that targets the visual as a root to understanding culture.
My original background belongs to the design of the sculptoric form using glassy-state materials like blown glass and porcelain, but currently I´m more intererested in using an object’s actions as a tactic to scape the modern sculptural fetish.
